17 Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position
No matter how disciplined or mature I am in my relationship with God, there will always be temptations whether it be of pride or lust. I still have so much to learn and develop upon and sometimes I can experience periods of relapses. Personally this makes me realise how important fellowship really is, people to rebuke each other and keep in line. Irony is that the few people I open up to aren't in my lifegroup.
