2 Peter 2
21 It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them.
I can feel a heavy heart sometimes for those who leave the Church or even faith. They who spend their entire lives living for themselves, discovering the only way of their salvation and walking away from it. Whether it be our Cheil's failure to be welcoming to newcomers or our failure to provide the needs of our outcasts, when they leave they are still held accountable. That to me seems to be the biggest tragedy.
