9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
True confessions involves not just a commitment in our deeds but also in our heart. This is especially applicable to me when I beg God for self control but all my mind wants to do is indulge myself in pagan views of women.
