2 Peter 1

 8 For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.
My salvation does not depend on my good actions, however if we do love God and accept him then our gratitude with translate into actions. I'm reminded how much I neglect selflessness as I'm especially numb to my workmates as some of them disgust me with their actions as well as they are disappointed in my poor comprehension and teamwork skills. James 2:17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

15 And I will make every effort to see that after my departure you will always be able to remember these things.
A true Christ centred leader makes sure that followers priorities scripture over him.
