Hosea 10

God blessed Israel with material abundance, yet they spent it on their own idolatrous ambition. For the fallow ground to become fertile it must be broken, since all of us are hard hearted we have to break up the fallow ground of our hearts. I have many idols that apparently are not yet conquered, maybe God will have to intervene because I've been unable to break them. verse 12 "for it is time"  implies that the time to break our pride and inward tendencies, time to seek God is now. God is patient with His children, he may break them for a time but they will love Him
