1 Corinthians 6
Corinthians ppl were apparently suing each other, Paul considered them petty and said they should be resolving their issues within the community. Those within the congregation (hopefully matured christians) would have the Holy Spirit to biblically discern their decisions which is by far more beneficial that secular law becoming involved. We are supposed to be witnesses of Christ not to each other but also to the law, to represent unity in Christ would be a good witness to our governments and general society.
I'm also to remember that my body is not my own, grace is good but I shouldn't abuse it. My freedom of expression will not represent God's character, imitating His son will.
Prayer/response:
- love and pray for those young in faith in our congregation
- annaliz, do not forsake her. help me love her
- kevin wang and peter kim. please continue to prune them, let them love you more
- matt and jane to have fruitful rest
- do not abuse the privileges of grace
