14 What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them?
Whoever reads and studies the Bible multiple times over will clearly acknowledge that finding the cure for cancer can't make us righteous with God. While it is true that good deeds aren't needed for salvation, a changed life is an indicator of true genuine faith. Putting trust not in financial security or social hierarchy but in a gift that lasts. Clearly, this verse applies to any Christian who have been convicted to initiate change in their life despite finding no pleasure in it.
