2 Thessalonians 1
5 All this is evidence that God’s judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering.
Like most people, I don't look forward to uncomfortable lifestyles that could potentially fall into social rejection. It's no secret among Christians that if we truly live out our faith and are vocal about the gospel we will face some form of persecution. And yet, I should find some reassurance in my suffering as I understand that everything that takes place is predestined by God to achieve his marvellous plan. Rather than focusing how unfair life is I should pay attention to how I can use a particular situation to glorify God. Philippians 3:14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
