Acts 28


20 For this reason I have asked to see you and talk with you. It is because of the hope of Israel that I am bound with this chain.
God may not give you a materialistically comfortable lifestyle, but if you choose to follow christ through our blessings and shortcomings then he will provide us with opportunities to proclaim his name. The conclusion for the of this Book ended with the miraculous enigma of how Paul didn't die of his snake bite and with the same repetitive but also important message of perseverance. What I can reflect from Acts is just like what i've learnt this year, my life does not belong to me. Despite extreme persecution they set Jesus as their highest authority. It is said the the blood of the martyrs is the seed of the church, and clearly this was an unfortunate but also glorious reality that we're blessed to not face today.
