2 Corinthians 3

2 Corinthians 3

(3) you show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the spirit of the living God, not on Tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.
This reminds us that we are not saved because of an amazing sermon a pastor wrote whether it be Francis Chan or Billy Graham. No human effort can save someones fate. Although they could be a vessel through which we can learn more about Christ, salvation ultimately comes from God.

(6) He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant - not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
The 10 commandments was a guidebook to show how we could obey God but it didn't save us, Jesus is the fulfilment of the law which makes us right with God if we choose to accept him as our lord.
