Genesis 41, Mark 11, Job 7, Romans 11
Jesus asks the elders if John the baptisms ministry was from heaven or from men. If they say it was from heaven then Jesus will condemn them for not being disciples of John, and since Johns ministry pointed to Jesus they would have to follow him. If they say Johns ministry was illegitimate then they will lose peoples support. Been reminded through Mark 11 that some people ask questions about the gospel not because they want to learn more but just because they want to criticise, their minds are already made up. This leaves me to have faith that it is only the gospel message that saves. I must preach it over and over and over again and God will save some.
