1 Corinthians 16 + Book Summary

Paul gives 5 applications for the Corinthian Church which can just be painfully obvious to apply for chEMistry;
1. Be on Guard. Be watchful for wolves in sheep clothing.
2. Stand firm in the faith. Place the basis their faith and lives in the gospel, not secularism
3. Be courageous. Rely on God and pursue Him in times of prosperity and peril such from dealing with sin within the congregation to extreme persecution.
4. Be Strong. 
5. Do everything in love. Because without love, all their actions would be in vain

The problems Paul had to address in this book were divisions, greediness in food and status, abuse of christian freedom, attitudes on spiritual gifts. Capable leaders can successfully shut down drama, but it takes a Godly leader to lead these issues back to Christ, edifying not just their actions but also their attitudes. Paul was hard on the Corinthians because of love. Love only. This in radical form is why Paul Washer told 5000 teenagers that if they don't throw away casual faith they will go to hell. When I complain about consistent labour in Church, the root reason is because I don't love.

The final two verses, god dammit i want this.
v23 the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
v24 My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen

I'm so hateful. Idk what it'll take but one day God willing I will embrace this radical love.
