1 Corinthians 13

Apparently v8-10 states that all our gifts are temporary. They will not be necessary when Jesus comes again. When we are with Jesus we will grow to a full understanding of Him,  we will express nothing but perfect love toward God and each other

Out of all the characteristics/gifts the most important one is love. 

Love is important bruh i get it. I could be the best preacher, bring the most people to church, contribute the most money and yet all these are mostly in vain if not in love. I'm regretful of what i've done to people and how I was a poor witness to them, but I don't seem to be overcome by the blood of the lamb. I work for God, yes, but what happened to my love? I don't know what it's going to take for me to feel that, how long do I have to labour on until I feel love for others like how Jesus loved me? If this be a cross I have to carry to the grave then carry it I shall, but pls no cause ceebs. I guess Paul was literal when he wrote "Love suffers long" v4.
