Acts 16: 1-15
Acts 16: 1 - 15
Women must have been very oppressed back in the day (i'm assuming), however Lydia had decided not to victimise herself and independently create a successful cloth business. Despite her self reliance going so well she was still receptive to the gospel. There were so many reasons she could have rejected Jesus and His restrictive religion but she still believed and followed. This reminds me that I shouldn't be too intimidated to evangelise to those who seem like they don't want the gospel. Prayer. Prayer. Prayer.
Prayer Points:
- Rely on God in success and depression
- Remind myself and others that God is never out of reach for any single human being
