Hebrews 2

(1) We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away.
According to my Biblical knowledge, studying scripture and observing our Christian brethren should be of highest priority. Paying attention would mean that we shouldn't be distracted with what our conscience or critical thinking declares as more truthful or important than what was already provided by God.

(10) In bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through what he suffered.
Romans 5:3-4 (3) Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; (4) perseverance, character; and character, hope.
This is made easier to empathise when we suffer our labours with each other.
