Acts 16


(3) Paul wanted to take him along on the journey, so he circumcised him because of the Jews who lived in that area, for they all knew that his father was a greek.
Sometimes we need to go beyond what is usually expected of a Christian in order to create opportunities for a group or culture to to accept or listen to us.

(15) When she and the members of her household were baptized, she invited us to her home. "If you consider me a believer in the Lord." she said, "come and stay at my house." And she persuades us
We should never forget to be hospitable to fellow believers and generally people. People can often leave spiritually or emotionally heightened when we apply Christlike qualities to our actions.

(24-25) When he received these orders, he put them in the inner cell and fastened their feet in the stocks. About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.
Despite their unfair treatment, they praised God publicly. They understood that their suffering had a purpose and was honoured to suffer for Christ. No matter the circumstance, we should praise God to set an example to others and ourselves.
